Basic Document Requirements for a Bangladesh Visa

1. Passport

• Original passport with at least six months validity from the intended date of travel.
• Minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.
• Attach all old passports (if any).

2. Visa Application Form

• A duly filled and signed Bangladesh visa application form.
• The form must be completed online or manually and printed for submission.

3. Photograph

• Two recent passport-size color photographs (Size: 35mm x 45mm).
• White background, matte or glossy finish, and no border.

4. Covering Letter

• A signed letter from the applicant stating:
  • Purpose of travel, duration of stay, and financial responsibility.
  • Addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of Bangladesh.
• Self-employed applicants: Letter on company letterhead.
• Employed applicants: Letter on plain paper with employer details.

5. Invitation Letter (if applicable)

• For business or visit visas, an invitation letter from a Bangladeshi company or host.
• Should include the host’s details, applicant’s details, and purpose of visit.

6. Travel Itinerary

• Confirmed round-trip flight tickets.
• Hotel booking confirmation or accommodation details from the host.

7. Financial Proof

• Bank statement for the last 3-6 months showing sufficient funds.
• Income tax returns (ITR) or salary slips may be required.

8. Employment/Business Proof (if applicable)

• Salaried applicants: NOC from employer & salary slips.
• Self-employed applicants: Company registration proof & business financials.
• Students: Bonafide certificate from the educational institution.
