When we started planning our first app, we looked for the perfect location. In the meantime, we’ve used our phones for two years to manage our careers, travelling and exploring new places. After discussing this possibility, we decided on Apple’s online App Store. We chose a web-based application for its high quality, continuous development and testing capabilities, and compatibility with iPhone, iPad and other devices. After taking that first step, we learned that iPhone applications aren’t yet optimized for mobile phone browsers. The apps get closed within the first day or two, and we knew we’d be losing out on months of customer feedback. We decided to make our mobile application interactive, and make web development a more permanent part of our company.
