According to Biomedicine Today, Temodar, a medication used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS), will be shipped in India for the first time by Amgen (AMGN). Two thirds of cancer treatments in India are actually provided by MS, making it the country's leading cancer treatment provider. The second-biggest source is MS. Novartis, Amgen's Indian partner, ships the MS medication to India together with other biopharma shipments from Cipla, Amgen's Indian partner. In 2014, the two international pharmaceutical companies announced an agreement to collaborate.
